Online Banking Alerts

Sign up for Alerts through Online Banking. Alerts allow you to receive email and/or text notifications regarding activities that have occurred in your accounts. This feature will give you the added security of detecting possible fraud so you can quickly act and contact us.

Direct Banking Alerts provides notification when activity has occurred within Online Banking and sends Alerts to the customer. For example, the customer can choose to receive an Alert when a new bill payee is added in Online Banking.

Your information is secure

While account information can be viewed on the Alerts message, no personal information account numbers or any data that could be used to identify accounts or customers can be retrieved, which ensures a high level of protection.

It’s free!

There is no fee to sign up for Alerts, and no fee to receive them. However, your wireless carrier may charge you for receiving text messages and for data usage. Please check with your wireless carrier for details about your mobile phone package.

Get Alerts every time:

  • Login to Online Banking
  • New Bill Payee is added
  • Online Banking password is changed
  • Interac® e-Transfer recipient is added
  • Transaction is Pending Approval
  • Transaction is about to expire

How do I sign up for Alerts?

  1. Log into Online Banking
  2. Click on Messages and Alerts
  3. Click on Manage Alerts Contacts and Mobile Nicknames (shortcut)
  4. Click on Add Email and/or Add Mobile Phone
  5. Select the Alerts you want sent to you. Click Alerts under Manage Alerts page. Select the Alert type (New payee added, Password Change, etc.), and where you would like Alerts sent (email/text).

Alerts – Things to Know

  • Alerts is available to all customers who have access to Online Banking.
  • To receive Alerts, customers must have either a valid email address or cellphone capable of receiving SMS text messages.
  • Although there is no charge for using Alerts, customers may be subject to charges by their carrier for receiving text messages and/or email messages. Customers are advised to check with their wireless carrier for details.
  • Alerts can only be setup or modified via Full Website or Desktop (Not the mobile app or mobile website).
