Mr. Dyrda resides in Ottawa, Ontario. Mr. Dyrda retired in April 2016 from his position as Senior Vice President with major Canadian financial institution, having enjoyed a 38-year career in business banking. He graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario with a Masters in Business Administration, and from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He earned the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Canadian Directors in 2009. Mr. Dyrda is active in a variety of charitable causes and is the Chair of the Board of the Children’s Hospital Research Institute. As well, he is a member of the Investment Committees at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation and Carleton University. He has also recently joined the joint governance committee between Children’s Hospital Research Institute and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and a member of the audit and finance committee at the Ottawa Hunt Club.
